Coaching Defines Us

Our name tells the story. We emphasize coaching in everything we do.

That's not to say we don't love to teach. Our workshops are packed with valuable information. But two decades of experience tells us that the surest way to high performance is coached practice.

So, even in a workshop with multiple teaching modules, we will do all that we can to maximize the time that participants practice their presenting with feedback and coaching. To help this happen, we encourage smaller class sizes and charge reasonable fees so this can be considered.

We Emphasize Learning by Doing

Breakthroughs happen when presenters actually experience being better speakers because of changes a coach has helped them make. When, in addition, they witness their improved performance on a video recording, there's no going back to the lower performance level they were at.

The Quality of Coaching Makes the Difference

Not all coaching is equal. The key to success is combining practice with coaching that is both insightful and results-oriented. Shallow, obvious-to-anyone performance assessments have little value. Guidance that only suggests what should happen—and doesn't help a speaker make the change—leaves old habits in place. We believe in coaching for real change.
